Was für ein spannender Tagtraum! Oder sollte er ihn einen „Nachttraum“ nennen? Sein Kopf quillt über von Erinnerungen an frühere Freuden, als er im Bett liegt, sein Herz immer schneller schlagend. Ach! Welche Wonne!
Sollte er sich umdrehen und - ? Er schaut auf die Uhr auf dem Nachttisch. „Nein! Es sind nur zwei Stunden gewesen - und es ist 3 Uhr morgens.“
Er beschließt, ein wenig länger seinen Tagträumen nachzuhängen. „Mmmmm“. Nichts kann den Genuss beschreiben. Er fühlt, wie er heiß vor Freude wird.
„Ach, komm! Genieß einfach diesen Augenblick! Hör auf zu phantasieren! Du willst sie!“
„Nein! Du weißt, du wirst die restliche Nacht wach sein.“
„Warum quälst du dich? So nahe! Köstliche Versuchung ist so nahe!“
Er schließt die Augen erneut und malt sich das Gefühl der Wonne von nur zwei Stunden vorher aus. Welche Süße ... welche Freude! Er verzehrt sich vor Leidenschaft.
„Es reicht! Kein Warten mehr. Gib dich deiner Leidenschaft hin!“
Er dreht sich herum und greift nach der köstlich süßen Schweizer Schokolade, die in der Schublade des Nachttisches versteckt ist.
Notiz der Autorin: Hier ist ein Beispiel, wie sich Übersetzungen unterscheiden können. Auf Englisch muss man „it“ statt „sie (she)“ benutzen. Das Wort „it“ ist neutral. Deshalb ist es auf Englisch nicht so möglich, die Idee aufrechtzuerhalten, dass der Mann an eine Frau denkt.

English Translation
What an exciting daydream! Or should he call it a "night dream"? His head overflows with memories of past delights as he lies in bed, his heart beating ever faster. Ah! What ecstasy.
Should he roll over and -? He looks at the clock on the bedside table. "No! It has only been two hours - and it's 3 o'clock in the morning."
He decides to indulge in daydreaming for a little longer. "Mmmm." Nothing can describe the pleasure. He can feel himself getting hot with anticipation.
"Oh, come on. Just enjoy the moment! Stop fantasizing. You want it!
"No! You know you'll be awake for the rest of the night.
"Why torture yourself?" So close! Delightful temptation is so close!"
He closes his eyes again and envisions the total bliss of only two hours ago. What sweetness - what joy! He is totally inflamed with passion.
"That's enough! - no more waiting. Surrender to your passion."
He rolls over and reaches for the deliciously sweet Swiss chocolate that is hidden in the drawer of the night table.
Author's note: Here is an example of the way translations can differ. In English you must use "it" instead of "she (sie)". The word "it" is neutral. Therefore, in English it is not so easy to perpetuate the notion that the man is thinking about a woman.
